Ohio Junior Blowing Up

La Grange (OH) Keystone junior tight end C.J. Conrad has certainly seen his recruitment take off in the past few months. One of the top 2015 prospects in Ohio, Conrad added his second Big Ten offer Sunday afternoon.

Although C.J. Conrad might not yet be a household name in Ohio, the Keystone tight end is one of the state's top 2015 prospects.

Conrad, 6-foot-5, 225-pounds, took an unofficial visit to Indiana on Sunday and walked away with his third offer. He was previously offered by Illinois and Toledo.

"I had a great time at Indiana, and I spoke to all the coaches," Conrad stated. "They showed me all around before practice, and my dad and I stayed to watch the practice. After practice ended, Coach (Kevin) Wilson came up to me and told me he was offering me a scholarship."

"Indiana is a great program, and it's an honor to have my second offer from the Big Ten," he added. "I'm excited about Indiana, and it's a great program. I love the offense they run, and I think I fit in with what they're trying to do. It's a high-tempo, spread offense, and I really like it."

With the start of college football just around the corner, Conrad is already planning trips to see teams play this fall.

"I'm definitely going to go back to Indiana to see them play this year," he explained. "They want to build a strong relationship with me, so I definitely will go back this fall."

"I'm also planning to go to games at Illinois, Ohio State and Toledo this fall," Conrad said. "I'm also interested in Arkansas, Kentucky, Tennessee, Penn State, Northwestern and Pittsburgh, and I've been in touch with all of these schools."

Conrad is coming off a recent impressive camp performance at Ohio State for their Friday Night Lights event.
