Todd Talks Recruiting

Orange Park (FL) Oakleaf High School outside linebacker Justin Todd talks about recruiting. Todd has several FBS showing interest heading into the 2013 season.

Orange Park (FL) Oakleaf High School outside linebacker prospect Justin Todd heads into his senior year with three scholarship offers and a handful of FBS schools showing interest. The 6-foot-1 and 225-pound linebacker camped at Florida International recently in an effort to gain his first in-state offer.

"Right now I have two main offers from North Carolina Central and North Carolina A&T and I am being heavily recruited by Florida International," said Todd of his recruitment. Todd also has an offer from Wofford.

Todd left the FIU camp feeling good about the experience.

"I went to FIU's camp. I am on a first name basis with their linebacker coach. They said after I get my test scores they may be able to offer," said the hard-tackling defender.

The list of schools Todd has been hearing from includes Arizona, Florida Atlantic, Appalachian State, Miami and Florida State.

As a junior Todd accounted for 96 tackles, two fumble recoveries and one interception which he returned for a touchdown.

"I have good speed coming off the backside and I am coachable," said Todd when asked what made him a good football player.
