Air Force Offers Mitchell

6-foot-4, 225 pound tight end Curtis Mitchell picked up his second offer right as his senior season was beginning. Check out what Mitchell has to say about Air Force.

Westerville-South (OH) tight end Curtis Mitchell picked up his first offer from Akron at the end of his junior year. Just as his senior year is beginning, Mitchell has added his second offer.

"Air Force offered me," said Mitchell. "It wasn't really a surprise. I had stayed in touch with the coach throughout the summer."

The senor hasn't visited before, but says there are a lot of things he likes about the school.

"I like them a lot. I like what the academy has to offer. The opportunities after college are great and with a degree from them, I will have a lot of options. Not to mention they are in a beautiful part of the country."

Mitchell has also been hearing from Navy, Ohio and Toledo.

The senior has had a busy summer attending camps at Ohio, Toledo, Bowling Green, Ohio State, West Virginia and Indiana. When he wasn't on campuses, he was focusing on improving his game.

"I worked on my speed off the ball and using my hands to get off the blocker. Also, I've been working hard at tight end so, some catching as well."

Mitchell doesn't have a timetable set for when he hopes to make his commitment.
