"Those are the main schools showing me attention right now, but I am hoping there are going to be some more after the season."
While the process is just beginning for the talented junior, Mississippi's two SEC schools appear to be picking up the pace.
"Ole Miss is recruiting me the hardest right now and I have talked to them the most," said Jones. "When I go up there, they always try to make me feel like I'm family.
"Coach (Hugh) Freeze has talked to me some and he tells me that they really want me to come up there.
"Mississippi State has started talking to me a lot more and that's good.
"They offered me and I have been hearing a lot more from them since then.
"I am still open right now. I am waiting to see who all offers me before I make a decision.
"I'm not going to rush anything. I still have plenty of time."
The Wildcats have the chance to have a special season in 2013 and Jones is excited about his team's potential.
"I know we're ready to go play this Friday night," said an excited Jones. "Everybody has been working as hard as they can and I believe we're ready to go.
"We have a lot of seniors and a lot of talent coming back, so I feel like we all of the eyes are on us.
"I know everybody is going to come out and play us hard."
Jones reports he believes he brings a lot to the table for Louisville both on and off the field.
"I am a good route runner and I try to do all of the other things right when they ball is not coming my way," said Jones. "I don't take plays off and I always give me all.
"I don't say nothing out of the way to my coaches and I just try to be a good guy.
"I try to work hard and just keep a good attitude about everything."
