Just in time for his junior season to get into full swing, Richards (Ill.) quarterback Hasan Muhammad-Rogers is seeing his recruitment pick up.
"Everything is going pretty well, the team is working hard to make a run this year," Muhammad-Rogers said. "I also got to visit Indiana university Sunday for their junior day."
Overall, Muhammad-Rogers enjoyed his visit to Indiana.
"It was overall a great experience," Muhammad-Rogers said. "I really liked how welcoming everyone was on campus. Their team is a real family, and they know how to have fun and get work done."
The visit to Indiana was the first visit to a college practice for the 2015 signal caller, and it lived up to expectations.
"All of the players went out to the field with the attitude to get better," Muhammad-Rogers said. "It was like they attacked the practice like a game."
Muhammad-Rogers also got a chance to catch up with some of the coaching staff about what they see in him as an athlete.
"They said I was very athletic and I have a very strong arm," Muhammad-Rogers said. "Also one of their coaches will be out to see me play this year."
There are several other schools that have picked up interest in Muhammad-Rogers as well.
In the meantime, Muhammad-Rogers is focusing on his high school season -- but has a couple places he would like to visit.
"Right now I am really focusing more on our team than visits," Muhammad-Rogers said. "But this fall I would like to get out to Michigan State, Northern Illinois, Vanderbilt, Ball State, and Minnesota."
