West: Preseason Top Ten Defensive Ends
Location: Sacramento, Calif.
High School: Capital Christian
Size: 6-5, 270
Previous Ranking: 1
Recruiting: Arizona, Boise State, California, Colorado, Ole Miss, Oregon State, Stanford, UCLA, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin
The Skinny: Lealao is a great looking prospect and one of the nation's elite rush ends. At 6-4, 280 pounds, Lealao has an NFL body but shows amazing quickness getting off the ball. He does a great job using his hands to get off blocks and has superior closing speed. With his frame and natural strength, Lealao could move inside down the road and his versatility is another thing that sets him apart, he's capable of playing anywhere on theline in any system and being a difference maker.
Location: San Mateo, Calif.
High School: Serra
Size: 6-5/260
Previous Ranking: NR
Recruiting: Dickerson saw his recruitment explode over the summer and after reeling in 20+ offers, made an early commitment to Notre Dame
The Skinny: Dickerson really blew up this past spring/summer and probably elevated his stock more than any other player out West. He's one of those players that really jumps off the screen when you watch his tape and he has as much upside as any defensive lineman in the region. He has a nice, solid frame that is capable of adding even more weight. He moves around effortlessly and you forget he weight almost 260 pounds. He has the strength to take on a double team and holds up well at the point of attack and has the speed to chase down plays from behind as well.
Location: Bellflower, Calif.
High School: St. John Bosco
Size: 6-3/235
Previous Ranking: 3
Recruiting: Dorton committed last week to USC but said he still wants to take a few official visits with Arizona State and Washington being the most likely
The Skinny: Dorton could easily be ranked with the outside linebackers and in a 3-4 scheme, that's likely what he would play. Dorton is a natural pass rusher, has great quickness off the ball and is very strong. He has put on about 15 pounds since the end of last season and looked noticeably bigger in his upper body this past summer. He still has his quickness and might be the best pure pass rusher in the region
Location: Chandler, Ariz.
High School: Hamilton
Size: 6-4/225
Previous Ranking: 2
Recruiting: Cunningham recently cut his list to a final five; Arizona State, Texas A&M, USC, Oregon and Oklahoma
The Skinny: Cunningham has elite level athleticism that really jumps off the screen. He plays fast and can really get up the field. He can rush the passer, play the run and makes hustle plays when teams run a way from him. His first step is extremely quick and his closing speed is that of a linebacker. He plays with a lot of energy and passion and his size and skill set project very well to the next level.
Location: Corona, Calif.
High School: Centennial
Size: 6-3/250
Previous Ranking: NR
Recruiting: Committed to USC way back in May before many people even knew who he was.
The Skinny: The last time these rankings were done, back in March, Maloata was still in Samoa. His tape from his junior year was circulated and USC stepped up and offered before anyone else. The defensive end has a significant upside to him and it will be very interesting to watch him play this season. He's very quick off the ball, has great strength and shows excellent closing speed. He has the frame to bulk up and move inside at the next level or stay outside and be a terror coming off the edge.

The Next Five:
6. Henry Mondeaux, Portland (Ore.) Jesuit
7. Jaylen Johnson, Corona (Calif.) Centennial
8. Sione Takitaki, Menifee (Calif.) Heritage- Committed to BYU
9. Sumner Houston, Concord (Calif.) De La Salle- Committed to Oregon State
10. Don Hill, Boise (Wash.) Timberline- Committed to Washington
