91-100: The Ultimate Florida Top 100

What would a compilation of the top 100 recruits from the state of Florida look like if you merged the classes of 2014, '15 and '16? Here's a look at prospects 91-100.

The Ultimate Florida Top 100

91) Trayon Gray

Class of 2014
Miami (Fla.) Carol City
Wide Receiver
Committed to Miami

Scout.com's take: One of the state's best athletes there's no doubt that Gray could earn that fourth star this fall. This quarterback/wide receiver is terrific with the ball in his hands. He has outstanding size and speed and tough to deal with, especially in the open field. We feel his best position is wide receiver but he could also star on the other side of the ball at safety. Once he settles on one position and learns his craft the sky's the limit for this future Hurricane.

92) Devante Peete
Class of 2015
Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas
Wide Receiver
Offers from Florida, Miami, Alabama, Auburn, Missouri, Ohio State, West Virginia and others.

Scout.com's take: This is a tall wide receiver with a long, lean frame. When/if he ever fills out Peete could be an absolute monster on the perimeter. He's deadly in the air because of his height/length combination. Peete also high points the ball exceptionally well and knows how to use his body. It's also impressive watching him block on the edge or in space. This kid can be physical. Peete transferred from Pompano Beach Ely to St. Thomas Aquinas. He has a chance to be a special and unique talent.

93) Tyree St. Louis
Class of 2015
Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy
Offensive Tackle
Offers from Arkansas State, Louisville, Kentucky and Tennessee.
Scout.com's take: This is a big and athletic tackle prospect that transferred from Tampa Bay Tech to the IMG Academy. There's no question that he has the size, talent and tools to quickly become a four-star prospect and one of the top offensive line prospects in the 2015 class. We will see how he progresses this fall and next spring at his new high school home. He has a nice frame, long arms and good feet. St. Louis has already received a handful of impressive offers.

94) Mark Walton
Class of 2016
Miami (Fla.) Booker T. Washington
Running Back
Offers from FSU, Miami, West Virginia and others.
Scout.com's take: Walton will have a chance to become another outstanding running back from Dade County. This should be his breakout season. As a freshman for state champion Booker T. Washington he rushed for almost 500 yards and 11 touchdowns. Walton scored on a 13-yard run in last weekend's trouncing of Norcross (Ga.) and he had a few nifty carries in their blowout win in the spring over St. Petersburg Lakewood.

95) Jalin Buie
Class of 2016
Jacksonville (Fla.) Trinity Christian Academy
Running Back
Offers from Auburn, Boston College, Duke, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, and others.
Scout.com's take: Buie is already a sophomore sensation after rushing for 548 yards on 69 carries and four touchdowns as a freshman. The 5-foot-9 and 178-pound back is fast, has the ability to stop on a dime and change directions very quickly. He has good balance and at times just bounces of would be tacklers. His feet are very fast and it doesn't take him long to get to full speed. Durability will be a question at his size but has shown toughness and he is young.

96) T.J. Harrell

Class of 2014
Tampa (Fla.) Catholic
Running Back
Offers from Florida, FSU, Miami, USF, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Michigan State, Syracuse, Tennessee, UCLA and others.

Scout.com's take: The big question is what position will Harrell play in college? As a runner he's a smaller James Wilder. Harrell can run with power. He also shows good vision and balance. Harrell is a one cut and go guy that has good speed but not great speed. If he plays defense it's likely as a strong safety. Defensively, he's a physical tackler who's at his best at or near the line of scrimmage. Harrell could also develop into a linebacker.

97) Rashard Causey
Class of 2015
Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) University School
Offers from Miami, USF, Arkansas, Mississippi State, Rutgers, South Carolina, Tennessee, UCLA and others.
Scout.com's take: Causey already holds some impressive BCS offers. He's a cornerback with good size and speed. Causey can play man but has better instincts in zone, where he can read the eyes of the quarterback. He shows good instincts and anticipation and can break on the ball quickly. He does get beat time to time but has good recovery speed. I also like the way he can set the edge and defend the run.

98) Blake McClain

Class of 2014
Jacksonville (Fla.) Sandalwood
Defensive End
Committed to Florida State

Scout.com's take: McClain is a good defensive end/defensive tackle prospect. He has good size at 6-foot-4, 250-pounds. He comes off the ball low and with good leverage most of the time. He takes on drive blocks well, leads with his hat and hand with good hand placement. He has decent feet and runs ok. He will continue to get bigger and stronger and could end at defensive tackle. Needs to continue to work on developing more pass rush moves. This kid plays physical.

99) Aaron Covington
Class of 2015
Seffner (Fla.) Armwood
Offers from Vanderbilt and Toledo.

Scout.com's take: Covington missed about half the season last year because of a broken arm injury in week six of the season. But he came back this spring and summer and played great ball on the 7-on-7 circuit. He was arguably the best defensive back on Team Tampa and that included his high school teammate and Vandy commitment Kyle Gibson. He has excellent ball skills and doesn't lack confidence. Covington is in the same class as Byron Cowart and like his teammate he has a chance to become a big time recruit.

100) Tyler Byrd
Class of 2016
Naples (Fla.)
Wide Receiver/Cornerback
Committed to Florida
Scout.com's take: Byrd is a speedy athlete that stars on offense, defense and special teams as a wide receiver, cornerback and return man. He has excellent speed, good size and will only get bigger, stronger and faster as he physically matures. While there's still a long way to go for Byrd he projects best at this point at cornerback. Byrd got his dream offer from the University of Florida and has already committed to the Gators.
