Gainesville (FL) High School linebacker Matt Solt
is set to take his first official visit. The 6-foot-2 and 210-pound outside linebacker announced late last week that he will be going to Iowa State
for his first official visit. Solt will be in attendance for the Cyclones September 14th home game against in-state rival Iowa.
"Iowa State is one of my top schools," said Solt. "I want to get a feel of what it is like to be a Cyclone and the atmosphere of Jack Trice Stadium on game day."
Solt received his second BCS offer right before this season started when Wake Forest offered him a scholarship. In addition to his BCS offers, Solt also has offers from Appalachian State, Florida Atlantic, Florida Tech, Middle Tennessee and Old Dominion.
The list of schools that are actively recruiting the linebacker but have yet to offer are; Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Marshall and Wisconsin.
