Plans changing for Saunders

Nebraska takes on UCLA this Saturday in Lincoln for an 11:00 start. Early kickoff times usually lead to difficulty getting recruits in on time to visit. Can Mavin Saunders still make it in this weekend?

Florida State might be closer to sliding Mavin Saunders back over to being a solid commitment. The 6-foot-5 and 240-pound Saunders had planned on visiting Nebraska this weekend. Is he still planning on visiting Lincoln this weekend?

"No," Saunders said. "I will only visit Nebraska if it's an official visit. They want me to take an unofficial to visit. I am not going to be able to do that."

Saunders is one of the top tight ends in the state of Texas as well as in the nation. Saunders is rated the No. 12 tight end overall and is listed as a four-star prospect according to Scout.com.

Besides Nebraska, Saunders had talked about also visiting other schools. The other schools that Saunders reported at one time that he was considering visiting was Ohio State and Oregon.
