Chris Porter-Bunton is normally a wide receiver, and a very productive one. However this year he's been moved to quarterback out of necessity for his team.
"I talked with Coach Brohm at Western Kentucky. He told me he knows I'm out of position and he wants to see how I lead," Porter-Bunton said. "He also wants to see how quick I am in the open field."
Playing quarterback instead of receiver has given Porter-Bunton a different perspective of the offense.
"Yeah, playing quarterback will help me down the line," said Porter-Bunton who has thrown for 458 yards and four touchdowns. "It gives me a point of view from both sides."
As for recruiting he has remained in touch with Western Kentucky he's also been in contact with a couple of other schools.
"Indiana State and Murray State are keeping in touch with me," he said.
The 6-foot-4, 200-pound senior is planning on going on visits to Eastern Kentucky and Western Kentucky this fall, but he's not sure when he'll take those trips.
