2015 five-star defensive end Keisean Lucier-South holds several offers and has also heard from several schools after the new contact period began on September 1.
The Orange, California product has garnered new interest from Alabama, Florida State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Arkansas, Mississippi State, LSU, and Washington State.
There are two more schools in particular that he hopes to hear from and eventually get offered by.
"I'd really like to get that offer from Michigan and Ohio State," said Lucier-South. "They're Big Ten schools. People from here tell me that I can't make it in the Big Ten because they're big and strong players out there. I want to prove all those people wrong and get those offers because of my talent. I'm in the toughest football league in the country and face the best every week."
Lucier-South talked about Michigan and Ohio State specifically. Michigan has reached out to him early but has yet to offer. The Buckeyes have yet to make contact with the nation's 2nd best defensive end in the 2015 class but he is hopeful that will change.
"I'm hearing from Michigan a lot so far but not Ohio State at all," he told Scout. "I like them both because they have a strong tradition for winning and play hard-nosed football and hit people. They are two of the more historic programs in the country and I just hope to hear from them and get offered. I'd really look into them and give them serious interest."
"You can't go wrong with those schools in the Big Ten," Lucier-South added. "They have great academics and win championships."
The junior defensive end has jumped out to a great start this season. He has recorded 25 tackles and 5 sacks early on.
