Such is the case with Temple (Texas) 2015 running back Jeff Carr, a 5-foot-8, 165-pound prospect who has been turning heads this season with his performance on the field.
In three games, Carr has rushed for close to 400 yards, half of which came from his team's week two contest versus Austin (Texas) Westlake.
"I think both my elusiveness and quickness are my greatest talents on the field," said Carr.
After watching him run the ball down after down, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Carr has clocked in a 4.3 forty.
"We've been playing together for a long time," said Carr. "It really does help; we know what's going on."
As Temple has suffered a big blow with the loss of President, who tore his ACL during last Friday's game, Carr is now left with more responsibility to help drive the Wildcats' offense down the field.
While Carr may not be receiving much collegiate attention just yet, he doesn't hesitate to name a personal frontrunner.
"Baylor has been my favorite school since I was little. I grew up watching them," he said.
