Orlando Dr. Phillips sophomore standout Jonathan Pollock is an outside linebacker prospect from the 2016 class who's headed to Starkville to play for Mississippi State.
Sophomore linebacker Jonathan Pollock is a versatile talent for Orlando (Fla.) Dr. Phillips. He lines up everywhere at the position, from inside to outside. He can play in the box or make plays in space. He can rush the passer or drop in overage. Pollock is a heady linebacker who brings versatility to a defense. He plays smart. He reads and reacts quickly to the ball.
Pollock is still young and a tad undersized but he certainly has plenty of time to mature. He's only a sophomore with a few years to get bigger. He's somewhere between 5-foot-11 and 6-foot-0. At this time he looks best suited to play a hybrid safety/linebacker position.
