Live Evaluation: RB Isaiah Brandt-Sims

Scout looks at the Wenatchee (Wash.) running back, Isaiah Brandt-Sims, a Stanford commit, from his win over Davis...

Name: Isaiah Brandt-Sims
School: Wenatchee (Wash.)
Position: Running Back
Size: 6-0, 180-pounds
Class: 2014
Recruitment: Committed to Stanford Ranking: Three-Star, #55-ranked running back prospect nationally

Wenatchee (Wash.) running back Isaiah Brandt-Sims, a Stanford commit, is the fastest football player in Washington and once he gets in the open field, he's gone.

Davis did a good job of bottling him up in the early going, stacking the box and daring Wenatchee to beat them through the air.

When Wenatchee started doing that, Davis lightened the box and then Brandt-Sims went to work.

Probably his best play of the night was grabbing a swing pass, going 1on1 with a linebacker, making a move (the linebacker would go down with an injury because he bit so hard), and taking it in for a touchdown, but it was called back.

Right before the half, though, Brandt-Sims put his elite speed to work, taking a play off right tackle, getting into the open field then cruising to a 74-yard touchdown.
