All schools back in it for Key

Arden Key committed to South Carolina in the middle of June, almost 20 months before he will sign a letter of intent with a school. He has realized it was too early to commit and has pulled back on his decision...

It is not that Arden Key doesn't like South Carolina anymore. It is not that he and the Carolina staff had a disagreement, but it is more of Key feeling like he committed too early and that he should give himself more time to make this big decision.

South Carolina is still a school Key is considering, but he has plenty of other options too.

"Alabama, Georgia, Washington, Ole Miss, USC, Vanderbilt, North Carolina, Clemson, and Florida State are some schools recruiting me hard right now," said Key.

"South Carolina is still under consideration, but I decided with my parents that opening up my recruitment would be best at this time."

The 6-foot-5, 195 pound junior out of Lithonia (Ga.) M.L.K. could be a rush end or outside linebacker on the next level.

He is going to take a step back, look at the different options, and take his time with this decision.

The four-star junior knows he rushed things a little and he is now open to all schools.

Key will be in Athens Saturday visiting Georgia when the Dawgs play LSU.
