Friday Night Lights Notes

Check out notes from Friday Night at Providence Catholic from FOXSports and Scout.com.

The match-up between Providence Catholic and Gordon Tech didn't turn out to be the game that some were expecting, as the Celtics got up big early, and won 42-0.

In fact, their starters only played the first half. Including 2015 four-star wide receiver Miles Boykin.

Boykin looked fluid and smooth as advertised, in fact for those that follow the recruiting game closely he reminded me of current Penn State receiver Geno Smith.

Boykin caught two touchdowns in the span of a quarter, and found a way to get open pretty much every snap he played. Post game, Boykin expressed his excitement to visit Illinois for Saturday's game.

Gordon Tech had some prospects though, including 6-foot-6, 265 pound lineman Raequon Williams. He was the type of prospect that you took one look at and knew he would be something special.

Williams played with intensity and played every snap of the game for Gordon Tech. Lining up at defensive end, defensive tackle, tight end and offensive tackle.

Williams will be visiting Ohio State Saturday, and is just getting started in what will likely be an eventful recruiting process.
