The Titans hosted power Tampa Plant on this night and they upset the Panthers. A big reason why was the play of Fullwood, who finished with two interceptions and two fumble recoveries. But he also had two fumbles himself and missed several tackles.
"Yeah, it was an up and down game for me," Fullwood said. "But look at that scoreboard. We won 14-7. That's a big win for us."
For Fullwood, it's all about his preparation and conditioning. He's asked to do so much.
"I work hard during the off-season and during the season and that helps with the games. I play everywhere and don't really come off the field," Fullwood said. "So the game's come easy because that's how I practice as well."
For now, Fullwood is committed to USF. He remains a pledge to Willie Taggart and the Bulls but says he's still going to visit other schools. In fact this weekend he will be in Orlando checking out South Carolina visiting UCF.
"I am still committed to South Florida but I am open to other schools. I am still looking around. I will visit UCF this weekend and I plan on visiting Syracuse, Rutgers, Florida State. That's the plan right now."
Regardless of how this may seem Fullwood is a big believer in Taggart. He knew it wouldn't be easy.
"How many coaches go undefeated their first year?," Fullwood said. "I was at the FAU game and I wasn't happy about that and the way they played. But I also know it's going to take some time. He has to get his players there."
