The one thing that stands out when you watch Willis is his nose for the ball. He has the size you look for at linebacker to play in the Big Ten and is able to shed blockers and run the field. A sure tackler, Willis will play his best football at the college level.

No major concerns in Willis as his areas of weakness are correctable in a college strength and conditioning program. Must get stronger and add some weight, but that is the issue with most prospects entering college.

This is a great pickup for Indiana as Willis understands what is needed to play in the Big Ten. He comes from one of the top prep programs in the country and is well schooled off and on the field. His abilities to support the run and also drop back in short coverage areas will serve him well in the future. Willis is the type of player Kevin Wilson must sign to continue growing the Hoosiers football program.

The following highlights are from this season as Dameon Willis played against Detroit (Mich.) Brother Rice High School.
