Holman Takes His Talents to Tampa Bay

Coach Willie Taggart and the South Florida Bulls received terrific news on Sunday evening when Madison (Ala.) Bob Jones linebacker Nick Holman committed to USF over an offer from UAB.

Coach Taggart and the South Florida Bulls received terrific news this evening when 2014 Madison (Ala.) Bob Jones linebacker Nick Holman gave his pledge to the Bulls after recently visiting Tampa Bay for their game against Miami (FL) last weekend at Raymond James Stadium.

Holman, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound stud, earned an offer from UAB earlier this year and snagged an offer from the Bulls last weekend when he visited Tampa Bay for their game against Miami (FL).

"The coaches were ecstatic and they're supposed to be sending me a playbook in the mail tomorrow," Holman said.

South Florida will be losing their captain of the defense next year in middle linebacker DeDe Lattimore and Holman is a traditional linebacker who can approach the line of scrimmage and delivers a punch at the point of attack.

Along with offers from South Florida and UAB, Holmes received significant interest from Vanderbilt, Minnesota, South Alabama and Southern Miss among others.
