"We lost the one to Kettering (Ohio) Fairmont that we should have won," said Brown "But we're right where we want to be going into Springboro next week. I feel so confident in all my teammates and feel we're going to finish out the year strong.
As one of the reasons Miamisburg has gone from a team scrapping to earn a win each week to one fighting for a conference title, Brown remembered what it felt like the last time he played a game in Xenia.
"The last time I was on this field (Cox Stadium) was my sophomore year we got it handed to us," he said. "But things are different. Our attitude is different and the energy is on a whole different level."
On the field, Brown continues to grow from being a receiving threat to one that can help open up the Vikings running game.
"I feel I've improved greatly on my blocking," said Brown. "I wasn't nearly as strong as I am this year and now feel I can get under kids and move them."
With an early pledge to Ohio, Brown has been enjoying his frequent trips to his future colligate home.
"I've been down a couple of time and I just love Ohio University," he said. "I hope to continue what I'm doing here and take it down to OU and do my thing there and continue to progress as a football player."
