2015 Intro: Victor Harris

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Phillip O. Berry Academy always has talented players. 2015 wide receiver Victor Harris is one of the school's next college prospects.

Victor Harris is having a strong junior season.

"I feel like I've taken on a bigger role and I'm stepping up and being a leader," said the 6-foot-3, 190-pound Harris.

His high level of play has not gone unnoticed.

"I'm getting mail from Clemson, Duke, UNC, Missouri, Louisville, N.C. State and ECU," he said.

He visited one of those schools.

"I visited Duke during the summer," Harris said. "I really enjoyed the trip. It was nice and I really liked the environment. They showed me a lot of love, too."

Which school could be the first to offer?

"Honestly, I think Duke," he said. "They've been showing me a lot of interest and the coaching staff has told me that they want me to come down for some games."

Harris said he also hopes to visit Clemson, Florida State and Miami before the end of the season.

For now, he is focused on having a strong finish to the season.

"I want to have at least 1,000 yards and 15 touchdowns," he said.

Through seven games, Harris has 31 receptions for over 500 yards and six touchdowns.
