Rank (Last)

Team (Record) City, ST

1 (1)
Booker T Washington Logo
Washington (7-0) Miami, FL

Booker T. Washington continues to roll towards the playoffs with a 41-7 win over Gulliver Prep. Despite Norland's record, they've been competitive in their games, but don't hope for an upset here.

Last: Def Gulliver Prep 41-7
Next: 10/24 Norland (2-5)
2 (2)
Allen Logo
Allen (7-0) Allen, TX

Allen continues to run roughshod over quality competition. Plano West isn't a bad team, but you wouldn't know it by the final 77-37 score. Allen has another good team this week in Boyd that they'll probably blow out.

Last: Def Plano West 77-37
Next: 10/25 Boyd (4-3)
3 (3)
Miami Central Logo
Miami Central (6-1) Miami, FL

Northwestern got Washington and Central back to back. That would have been a lot of fun when Teddy Bridgewater was there, but Northwestern took a second consecutive beating. Central gets Miami power Carol City this week, but the Rockets should be up to the challenge.

Last: Def Northwestern 44-13
: 10/25 @ Carol City (5-2)
4 (4)
DeSoto Logo

DeSoto (7-0) De Soto, TX

DeSoto lost a little focus on defense giving up 42 points to Midlothian, but the Eagles still won comfortably. They should get another relatively easy win on the board this week against Duncanville.

Last: Def Midlothian 62-42
Next: 10/25 Duncanville (4-3)

5 (6)
De La Salle Logo
De La Salle (7-0) Concord, CA

Not that Logan had much of a chance anyway, but I'm sure they didn't want to see De La Salle coming off of a bye week. Amador Valley is next in line for a beating by the Spartans.

Last: Def Logan 49-7
Next: 10/25 Amador Valley (5-2)
6 (7)
St. Joseph Regional (5-0) Montvale, NJ

St. Joseph Regional had a stiff challenge ahead of them in St. Peter's Prep, and they walloped the previously undefeated Marauders. The Green Knights will have their hands full this week with Paramus Catholic who reached as high as No. 5 in this poll, but is coming off a loss to Don Bosco Prep last week.

Last: Def No. 50 St. Peter's Prep 56-28
Next: 10/26 Paramus Catholic (5-1)
7 (8)
Saint John Bosco Logo
St. John Bosco (7-0) Bellflower, CA

It took St. John Bosco a half to get control of Orange Lutheran's option offense. After trailing 17-14 at halftime, the Braves physically dominated Orange Lutheran, running up a 42-17 score before eventually winning 42-24. The Braves should handle JSerra this week, but they'll need to retain their focus.

Last: Def Orange Lutheran 42-24
Next: 10/25 @ JSerra (5-2)

8 (9)
Manatee logo
Manatee (8-0) Bradenton, FL

The week we've been waiting for is finally here. Manatee has been blowing out opponents the last five weeks, but will get its first test in a month against University. Manatee's last five games have been won by a combined 261-34.

Last: Def St. Petersburg 51-13
: 10/25 University (8-0)
9 (10)
Katy Logo
Katy (7-0) Katy, TX

A lighting delay pushed Katy's game against Seven Lakes to Saturday, and the extra day and a motivated Seven Lakes team almost proved costly to the Tigers. Katy eeked out a 17-12 win. There will be no such drama against winless Strake Jesuit this week.

Last: Def Seven Lakes 17-12
Next: 10/26 @ Strake Jesuit (0-7)
10 (11)
Colerain (8-0) Cincinnati, OH

Colerain had an easy go of it against Mason last week, and the Cardinals will put up another big number on Friday against Middletown.

Last: Def Mason 63-14
Next: 10/25 @ Middletown (1-7)
11 (12)
University School Logo Ft. Lauderdale
University (8-0) Ft. Lauderdale, FL

So Manatee has outscored its last five opponents 261-34. University has outscored its last five 255-20. This is a matchup of two very good teams coming in on equal footing, because neither of them have been challenged in over a month.

Last: Def Glades Central 48-13
Next: 10/25 @ Manatee (8-0)
Hoover Logo
Hoover (8-0) Hoover, AL

Hoover took care of Minor without much difficulty, but Tuscaloosa County will put up a fight on Thursday night against the favored Buccaneers.

Last: Def Minor 41-9
: 10/24 Tuscaloosa County (6-2)
13 (14)

Northwestern (8-0) Rock Hill, SC

Northwestern's game against Fort Mill was never in doubt, though the score might not have been as one sided as expected. We'll forgive the Trojans if they were looking forward just a bit to this week's showdown with unbeaten York.

Last: Def Fort Mill 42-20
Next: 10/25 York (8-0)
14 (15)
Byrnes (7-1) Duncan, SC

Gaffney beat Byrnes twice last year, and the Rebels took out a year's frustration in one night with a 61-20 shellacking of the Indians. Gaffney takes on a good Mauldin team this week. Byrnes shouldn't have too much trouble, but a road trip after an emotional win can always be dangerous.

Last: Def Gaffney (61-20)
Next: 10/25 @ Mauldin (5-3)
15 (16)
  Bellevue Logo
Bellevue (7-0) Bellevue, WA

Bellevue trounced Mount Si last week. They'll do the same to Liberty this week.

Last: Def Mount Si 52-13
Next: 10/25 @ Liberty (4-3)
16 (17)
Oscar Smith (7-0) Chesapeake, VA

Oscar Smith had two games last week because of postponements. The Tigers took care of Nansemond River on Monday and Grassfield on Friday. The combined score of those two games was 90-7. The Tigers face a  stiffer challenge this week against King's Fork but should win handily.

Last: Def Grassfield 42-0 (short turnaround)
Next: 10/25 King's Fork (6-1)
17 (18)
North Gwinnett (7-0) Suwanee, GA

After its three point scare against Mill Creek two weeks ago, North Gwinnett made sure there wasn't a repeat with a 41-0 win over Habersham Central. The Bulldogs take the week off before taking on Gwinnett County rival Collins Hill (6-1).

Last: Def Habersham Central 41-0
Next: Bye

18 (19)

Lamar (6-0) Houston, TX

Lamar took it easy on Math & Science Tech in a 49-7 win, and they'll put up another easy win against Madison this week.

Last: Def Math & Science 49-7
Next: 10/26 Madison (3-4)
19 (20)
Brother Rice (8-0) Bloomfield Hills, MI

Brother Rice had a nice 38-0 tune up win against Detroit Jesuit last week in preparation for another Holy War with a very good Catholic Central squad.

Last: Def Detroit Jesuit 38-0
Next: 10/26 Catholic Central (7-1)
20 (21)
Archbishop Moeller (8-0) Cincinnati, OH

Moeller dispatched Indianapolis Cathedral last week. This week brings St. Edward who lost their first game of the season last week. Moeller probably would have preferred being the team that knocked St. Edward from the ranks of the unbeaten, rather than getting them angry off a loss.

Last: Def Indianapolis Cathedral 35-14
Next: 10/26 @ St. Edward (6-1)
21 (22)
Mater Dei (7-0) Santa Ana, CA

Mater Dei continues to roll through its schedule with an easy 38-14 win over JSerra. The Monarchs should be in good shape this week against a reeling Santa Margarita team.

Last: Def JSerra 38-14
Next: 10/25 Santa Margarita (3-4)
22 (23)
Miramar (8-0) Miramar, FL

Miramar was expecting a fight from Flanagan last week, and the Patriots got one. This week brings Cypress Bay who should be taken care of much more thoroughly on Friday.

Last:  Def Flanagan 22-13
Next: 10/25 @ Cypress Bay (4-4)

23 (24)
Mountain Pointe (8-0) Phoenix, AZ

We predicted that the game against Corona del Sol was going to get ugly, but you didn't need to be Nostradamus to figure that one out. Mountain Pointe crushed Corona del Sol, and will take the week off to enjoy their 8-0 record.

Last: Def Corona del Sol 63-0
Next: Bye
24 (25)

Aquinas (6-1) Fort Lauderdale, FL

Aquinas rolled to a 28-0 lead at halftime before cruising to a 35-0 win. The Raiders should have an even easier go of it this week against Hollywood Hills.

Last: Def Cypress Bay 35-0
Next: 10/25 Hollywood Hills (3-4)
25 (26)
Karr (5-1) New Orleans, LA

Karr left little doubt in its beatdown of King last week. The Cougars will get a better test this week on the road against Belle Chasse, but should come out with the W.

Last: Def King 56-0
Next: 10/25 @ Belle Chasse (5-2)
26 (27)
Serra (7-0) Gardena, CA

Serra had one of the most impressive showings of the season as the Cavaliers crushed rival Chaminade 36-0. Chaminade is a very good team, but Serra showed exactly how good they can be if they are focused, motivated, and playing their best.

Last: Def Chaminade 36-0
Next: 10/25 Cathedral (5-2)
27 (28)
John Curtis Christian Logo
John Curtis (4-2) River Ridge, LA

Curtis had last week off and will get an easy win over Lusher this week.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/25 @ Lusher (5-3)
28 (30)
Punahou (8-0) Honolulu, HI

Punahou had the week off to get ready for their rematch with Kamehameha. The Buff 'n Blue put the only loss on the Warriors with a 24-0 victory on September 14th.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/25 Kamehameha (9-1)
29 (35)

Folsom (7-0) Folsom, CA

Folsom has faced undefeated teams in back to back weeks, and trounced them both. This week will be an even easier win.

Last: Def Jesuit 56-14
Next: 10/26 @ Sheldon (3-4)
30 (40)
Mission Viejo (7-0) Mission Viejo, CA

Mission Viejo won't be played within three touchdowns during league play. San Clemente wasn't up for the challenge in a 70-17 romp by the Diablos.

Last: Def San Clemente 70-17
: Bye
31 (31)
Coppell (5-1) Coppell, TX

Coppell had little trouble with Flower Mound, and they won't find much resistance against Marcus this week either.

Last: Def Flower Mound 45-3
Next: 10/25 @ Marcus (2-5)
32 (32)

Aledo (7-0) Aledo, TX

Aledo broke 80 points for the third time this season, and just for fun, the Tigers broke 90 last week. Southwest might be able to keep it within 60 on Friday.

Last: Def Western Hills 91-0
Next: 10/25 @ Southwest (5-2)

33 (33)

Saint Augustine (5-1) New Orleans, LA

St. Augustine had a tough game against Archbishop Rummel, but the Purple Knights pulled out the win. This week's game against Holy Cross will be even tighter.

Last: Def Archbishop Rummel 35-21
Next: 10/26 @ Holy Cross (7-0)
34 (41)
Jenks (7-0) Jenks, OK

Jenks has played a good schedule this year, but one wouldn't know it looking at the lopsided scores. Jenks took out unbeaten Westmoore 28-0 last week. I say with confidence that Muscogee will be on the wrong side of another lopsided score this week.

Last: Def Westmoore (28-0)
Next: 10/25 @ Muscogee (1-6)
35 (34)
Ensworth Logo
Ensworth (7-0) Nashville, TN

Ensworth had last week off, and gets back to the business of pummeling their schedule on Friday.

Last: Idle
Next: 10/25 @ Baylor (5-3)
36 (5)
Paramus Catholic (5-1) Paramus, NJ

It was only a matter of time before Don Bosco Prep, usually the bully, played spoiler in a down year. The Ironmen proved they are down but not out when they put the first loss on Paramus Catholic. The Paladins may have been looking ahead to this week's showdown with St. Joseph Regional, but that's doubtful. Don Bosco Prep is a good team that took Mission Viejo to overtime earlier this year.

Last: Lost to Don Bosco Prep 20-13
Next: 10/26 @ St. Joseph Regional (5-0)
37 (37)

Salpointe Catholic (8-0) Tucson, AZ

Salpointe Catholic hasn't been tested much this season, but they should get a better game from Ironwood Ridge, but the Lancers have piled up a whopping 400-37 combined score in its eight victories.

Last: Def Vista Grande 51-0
Next: 10/25 Ironwood Ridge (5-3)
38 (38)

DeMatha (8-1) Hyattsville, MD

DeMatha knocked off a solid Gonzaga team last week, and the Stags will take this week off as they are rolling towards the playoffs.

Last: Def Gonzaga 31-21
: Bye
39 (39)
Apopka (7-1) Apopka, FL

Apopka had little trouble with Evans. This week's opponent, Edgewater, was a power in Central Florida in the not so distant past, but those days seem like ancient history to this 0-8 Edgewater team.

Last: Def Evans 43-0
Next: 10/25 Edgewater (0-8)
40 (42)
Southlake Carroll Logo
Carroll (6-1) Southlake, TX

We thought Carroll might get a good game from Northwest, but the Dragons blew them away last week. They'll likely do the same to Keller this week.

Last: Def Northwest 63-21
: 10/25 Keller (4-3)
41 (43)

Ocean Lakes (7-0) Virginia Beach, VA

Ocean Lakes won big against First Colonial. Expect them to win big again this week against Landstown.

Last: Def First Colonial 52-7
Next: 10/25 Landstown (2-5-1)
42 (44)

Sandy Creek (6-0-1) Sandy Creek, GA

Sandy Creek is taking out the former West Georgia power teams one at a time. Two weeks ago Sandy Creek whipped Shaw, and after a fight with Alexander last week, the Patriots will take on LaGrange this week.

Last: Def Alexander 52-42
Next: 10/25 LaGrange (3-4)
43 (45)
Mentor Football Logo
Mentor (7-1) Mentor, OH

Mentor had little trouble with Salon in a complete 35-0 win, but the Cardinals will need to be at their best to deliver the first loss to Hudson on Friday.

Last: Def Salon 35-0
Next: 10/25 Hudson (8-0)

44 (46)

Lowell (8-0) Lowell, MI

Lowell had a huge win against Christian in a dramatic one point fashion. There will be no such drama this week against Jenison.

Last: Def Christian 35-34
Next: 10/25 Jenison (1-7)
45 (47)

Bingham (9-0) South Jordan, UT

Bingham continues to roll through their Utah competition including a big win over Copper Hill. Alta should be a tougher game, but the bar was set low last week.

Last: Def Copper Hills 52-0
Next: 10/24 @ Alta (4-4)
46 (48)

Mallard Creek (8-0) Charlotte, NC

Mallard Creek tuned up for Brown with an easy win over Vance. Brown will be a tougher opponent, but one the Mavericks should get past as a Top 50 team.

Last: Def Vance 41-0
Next: 10/25 Brown (6-2)
47 (36)

St. Edward (6-1) Lakewood, OH

No one can accuse St. Edward of looking past St. Ignatius in last week's loss, but the Eagles know they have a chance to climb right back up the rankings against undefeated Moeller this week.
Last: Lost to St. Ignatius 23-17
Next: 10/26 Archbishop Moeller (8-0)
48 (49)

Oak Grove (8-0) Hattiesburg, MS

Oak Grove used Terry as a warmup for the main event this week against Brandon. Brandon is coming off of a big win of their own against Meridian (42-14).

Last: Def Terry 43-7
Next: 10/25 @ Brandon (7-1)
49 (NR)
Blue Springs (8-0) Blue Springs, MO

The Wildcats have won 18 consecutive games including the 8-0 record this season. The streak includes a big win over Lee's Summit West in September. Blue Springs' streak will be put to the test this week against a powerful Lee's Summit team in a battle of undefeateds.

Last: Def Raymore-Peculiar 41-14
Next: 10/25 Lee's Summit (8-0)
50 (NR)

Male (8-0) Louisville, KY

After a couple of seasons watch Trinity get all of the attention, and wins, Male has claimed the top spot in Kentucky with a 24-14 win over Trinity last week. The Bulldogs have a good DuPont Manual team next week, but Male should be up to the challenge, even after the emotional win last week.

Last: Def Trinity 24-14
Next: 10/25 @ DuPont Manual (6-2)

In: Blue Springs (Mo.), Male (Ky.)

Out: McEachern (Ga.), St. Peter's Prep (N.J.)
