"It went great," he said. "As soon as I got there the recruiting director was waiting for me. The coaches have been talking heavily about me at A&M.
"I introduced them to my mom and grandfather, and they showed me around. We went on the field."
Martin, although disappointed in the outcome of the game, talked about some positive aspects from an A&M perspective.
"Johnny (Manziel), man, he was a beast," Martin said. "If he hadn't got hurt on that series A&M would've won the game. And on 3rd-and-13, when he ran for a first down, he was horse-collared and they didn't call it.
"The fans, I love how they're all friendly and have school spirit. They really do have school spirit. The yell leaders - oh, my gosh - they get the fans fired up. They were rockin' together. It's just a blessing to be there...it's not like sitting at home watching it."
