Top Performers - Running Backs

As we get closer to winding down the regular season, several JUCO runners continue to put up big numbers including Northeast Mississippi's Corbin White who had a monster game last week in his team's close loss to Itawamba. Here's a look at his day plus several other big-time performers from across the country...

Northeast Mississippi RB Corbin White - The freshman had his biggest game of the year, carrying the ball 28 times for 267 yards and two touchdowns in Northeast Mississippi's 36-33 loss to Itawamba.

Fergus Falls RB Hayden Zenner -

Zenner totaled 257 yards and three scores on 21 carries in his team's 35-8 win over Itasca.
Scottsdale RB ZaQuan Summers - In the Artichokes' 60-21 win over Phoenix the freshman had 234 and three scores on 21 carries.

Fort Scott RB Johnathan Alford - Fort Scott dropped their game with Hutchinson by a score of 63-39, but Alford still managed to put up big numbers carrying the ball 29 times for 227 yards and three scores.

Garden City RB Tyreek Hill - Hill who is used in multiple ways by the Broncbusters, had 12 for 200 yards and two touchdowns while also hauling in three receptions for 109 yards and another score in Garden City's 41-14 win over Dodge City.

East Mississippi RB Lakenderic Thomas - Thomas totaled 199 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries in EMC's 79-7 win over Northwest Mississippi.

Navarro RB Tim Wright - In his team's 42-28 win over Blinn, Wright managed to rush for 167 yards and three touchdowns on 26 carries. The sophomore tailback has carried the ball 159 times for 1,085 yards and 16 touchdowns while helping to lead the Bulldogs to a 6-2 record.

New Mexico Military RB Greg Morris - The talented freshman only touched the ball seven times, but he made the most of his chances as he finished with 164 yards rushing and two touchdown in the Broncos' 51-28 win over Pima. In seven games this season, Morris has totaled 617 yards and five touchdowns.

ASA RB Dante McDonald - The freshman had eight carries for 132 yards and two touchdowns in the Avengers' easy 48-0 win over the Atlanta Sports Academy.

Snow RB Daniel Palepoi - Palepoi carried the ball 26 times for 125 yards and one touchdown in the Badgers' surprising 41-28 win over Arizona Western.

College of the Canyons RB Matt Bowen - Bowen had 100 yards and five touchdowns on 28 carries and was named the Northern Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts in helping Canyons to a 44-23 win over Ventura.

Grossmont RB Treyous Jarrells - In Grossmont's 43-34 loss to Golden West, Jarrells had 25 carries for 171 yards and three touchdowns. This season, the talented tailback has totaled nearly 900 yards on the ground with 13 touchdowns.

Hartnell RB DeAndre Mann - The sophomore had just nine carries, but he totaled 127 yards and four touchdowns in Hartnell's 51-0 win over West Valley. So far this season, Mann has totaled 860 yards and 13 touchdowns in six games.

Cerritos RB Elijhaa Penny -

In Cerritos' 30-27 win over Allan Hancock, Penny carried the ball 26 times for 146 yards and a touchdown. The sophomore has been a real stalwart for the Falcons since the start of the season, rushing for 690 yards and 10 touchdowns in six games.
Contra Costa RB Davonte Sapp-Lynch - In the Comets' 47-21 win over Yuba, Sapp-Lynch had 18 carries for 115 yards and two scores.

City College of San Francisco RB Jahray Hayes - Hayes had 144 yards and two touchdowns on 14 carries in CCSF's 37-29 win over DeAnza.

Chabot RB Jayden Rowe - Rowe totaled 190 yards and three touchdowns on 31 totes as Chabot held on for a thrilling 33-28 win over Merced.

American River RB Drake Tofi - Tofi totaled 147 yards and a touchdown in ARC's 50-27 win over San Joaquin Delta.

San Joaquin Delta RB Theo Wofford - Wofford had a game-high 154 yards to go along with two touchdowns on 21 carries in San Joaquin Delta's 50-27 loss to American River.

Modesto RB Aden Ruiz - Ruiz helped lead the way to Modesto's 76-32 win over College of the Sequoias by carrying the ball 17 times for 144 yards and two scores.

College of San Mateo RB George Naufahu - CSM got a 33-0 win over Foothill last weekend and Naufahu was a big reason why as he managed to rush for 126 and a touchdown in the victory for the Bulldogs.

Citrus RB Emmanuel Pooler - In Citrus' 38-21 win over College of the Desert, Pooler managed to total 108 yards and one touchdown on just eight carries.

Mendocino RB Jakorian Graves - Graves carried the ball 30 times for 257 yards and a touchdown, but Mendocino still dropped their game with College of the Redwoods 69-66.

Laney RB Valentino Miles - The sophomore had 14 carries for 139 yards and two scores in Laney's 35-13 win over West Hills.

Butte RB Kendall Williams - Williams just continues to put up solid numbers this year while splitting carries in the Roadrunners' backfield. In six games, the freshman has totaled 735 yards and six touchdowns including last week's 23-carry, 131-yard and one touchdown effort in Butte's 49-21 win over Santa Rosa.
