2016 CB reports second offer

Defending Class 5A state champ Archbishop Rummel has a stout secondary spearheaded by two senior Arkansas commits and sophomore Kristian Fulton, who recently reported his second offer...

Louisiana Tech was first to offer Kristian Fulton - in May - and now Tulane is officially in the mix.

"My dad has been talking to the Tulane coaches," Fulton said. "They said they offered. Tulane is building their program up. It seems like they have a good team."

Fulton is having fun in his initial year as a starter at Rummel.

"I'm having a real good season," the 6-0, 165-pounder said. "My best games were against Shaw and St. Aug.

"I had four tackles, an interception, three passes broken up and scored a touchdown against Shaw. The touchdown was a 27-yard pick-six. I had six tackles against St. Aug."

Oregon, USC and Mississippi State are sending mail to Fulton, whose older brother Keith Fulton, a 2014 RB at Rummel, holds offers from Northern Colorado and Northwestern State.

Kristian isn't ready to reveal any favorites at this juncture; he's unsure where his next offer will originate.

Rummel, coached by highly respected Jay Roth, is 6-3 entering this week's district matchup vs. Holy Cross.

Fulton will go head-to-head against another top Louisiana sophomore -- RB Tre Turner -- when the Raiders host Holy Cross.
