Henderson County transitioned from veer style offense into a spread offense this season. The switch has not only paid off in record, but also for Mason Wolfe.

"Switching from the veer offense to the spread offense has helped me a ton in pass protection," Wolfe said.

Wolfe, 6-foot-5, 280-pounds, already considers himself a good run blocker, but he's still trying to improve on every facet of the game.

"I think my strengths would be my run blocking and how fast I get off the ball," he said. "I think that I have improved week-to-week, trying to be the best that I can be.

"I am a big fan of the sport and I love playing. (Football) is a big part of my life," continued Wolfe.

Wolfe has a handful of schools showing interest in him at this point.

"I have been hearing from Louisville, Kentucky, Purdue and California for the most part. I don't have any scholarship offers yet. I have been invited to games at Louisville, Kentucky and Purdue," he finished.
