Coach Speak: Da'Shawn Hand

Woodbridge (Va.) head coach Karibi Dede breaks down the newest member of Alabama's 2014 class, five-star defensive end Da'Shawn Hand.

Woodbridge (Va.) head coach Karibi Dede certainly knows what it takes to play defense in the Southeastern Conference. The first-year head coach played linebacker at Auburn from from 2002-2006, and was a member of the Tigers undefeated, 13-0, SEC championship team in 2004.

Although Dede's roots are in Auburn, he was excited to see his top player, five-star defensive end Da'Shawn Hand, announce his commitment to Alabama on Thursday.

After Hand's announcement, Dede spoke to Fox Sports/Scout.com about exactly what makes Da'Shawn Hand so special.
