Commitment Progress Report

The playoffs are now in full swing for the Ole Miss commits. To catch up on how their regular season numbers stacked up and who they are facing in the playoffs, read below.

Ole Miss Commitment Stats

Breeland Speaks

**Ole Miss commits WR Dayall Harris, S Ronald Walker, Breeland Speaks, OL Roderick Taylor and Callaway thumped Pearl 56-7 Friday to finish the regular season with a perfect 12-0 record.

3-Star WR Harris had to sit out the game due to a hamstring problem. He finished the regular season with 30 catches for 486 yards and seven touchdowns. The nation's #28 ranked safety, Walker, had eight tackles and two for a loss. He now has 100tackles, 8 for a loss, four forced fumbles, four fumble recoveries, two interceptions, and an an 80 yard kickoff return through five games. Taylor led the ground attack for over 450 rushing yards and has yet to allow a sack playing left tackle this season. Big Rod will be playing in the Under Armour All-American game in January. Recent commit Speaks chipped in 12 tackles, 1 sack, and an interception. He now has 95 tackles, 9.0 sacks, and 24 tackles for a loss, two QB hurries, one blocked punt, one blocked field goal, and four blocked passes.

Jackson Callaway (12-0) plays the loser of the Lake Cormorant and Saltillo game next Friday in the first round of the 5A playoffs.



**Oxford defeated Lake Cormorant 45-17 last Friday to push their record to a perfect 11-0 for the regular season. Sophomore Ole Miss commit DeKaylin Metcalf had four catches for 39 yards in the contest. He has caught 14 passes for 172 yards and four touchdowns in the past three games since returning from a shoulder injury that prevented him from playing in four games of action. He now has 32 catches for 398 yards and seven touchdowns in seven games of action.

Oxford (10-0) plays at home against Vicksburg tonight in the first round of the 5A playoffs





**Ole Miss commit RB Akeem Judd helped Georgia Military Aca to a perfect 11-0 record as they defeated Lackawanna College 63-18 last Sunday to earn a National Championship invitation. They will face East MS CC December 8th in Biloxi, Miss. The 215-pounder rushed the ball eight times for 58 yards and a touchdown in the contest. He has 97 rushes for 554 yards and four touchdowns in a injury riddled season.


**North Panola defeated Booneville 52-48 in a wild first round of the playoffs in Class 3A. Ole Miss commit, 4-Star TE Willie Hibbler, had his best overall game of the season. The junior had six catches for 109 yards, one touchdown, and one two-point conversion. He also chipped in 69 rushing yards with Ole Miss commit Justin Conner having to sit out his third game in a row due to a high ankle sprain. On defense Willie had a season high 11 tackles, one sack, and an interception while playing linebacker. The 6' 5", 220-pounder now has 31 catches for 708 yards and eight touchdowns on the season while also rushing for another 108 yards. On defense he has over 40 tackles while playing spot duty at linebacker. Ole Miss sophomore running back commit, Justin Conner, has 824 rushing yards and four touchdowns for the season.

North Panola (7-5) is at home tonight against Cleveland Eastside in the 2nd round of the playoffs.



C.J. Moore

**Bassfield defeated Richton 49-6 last Friday to run their record to 12-1. Ole Miss commit Calvin Moore was 3-8 for 123 yards and a touchdown. The future cornerback also rushed for 20 yards and had 3 tackles and an interception on defense. The 3-Star CB is now 44-77 for 976 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season. He has also rushed for additional 159 yards and six touchdowns. C.J. has 14 tackles, one interceptions, one caused fumble, and three batted down balls in limited play on defense. 3-Star LB Alvin Moore had a season high 18 tackles in the game. A.J. now has 94 tackles, two interceptions, ten for a loss, two safeties, six batted down balls, and three sacks.

The Yellow Jackets (12-1) plays at Union tonight in the second round of the playoffs.






**The nation's top kicker, Gary Wunderlich, and MUS had a bye in the first round of the playoffs. MUS has now won seven games in a row. For the season the Under Armour All-American has punted the ball 26 times for a 46.99 yard average. He has made all 56 of his extra points and forty three of his fifty eight kickoffs have been downed in the end zone. Gary is 3-7 in the field goal department with three of his four misses from over 50 yards. His long for the season is 51yards.

MUS faces (8-2) plays at McCallie tonight in the second round of the Division II AA playoffs.

**Lafayette defeated Itawamba AHS 24-12 last Friday in the first round of the 4A playoffs to push their record to 7-5 record. Ole Miss commit D.K. Buford had 79 rushing yards and two touchdowns in the contest. Buford now has 908 rushing yards (15 TDs), 293 receiving yards (3 TDs) on the season

Lafayette (7-5) is at home tonight against Greenwood and Ole Miss commit Sammie Epps in the second round of the 4A playoffs.

Jamiyus Pittman

**Colquitt County (GA) DT Jamiyus Pittman returned to the field after breaking his leg in the first quarter of the third game of the season. He recorded four tackle in the contest which brings his season totals 36 tackles, 3 sacks, and 7 tackles from behind the line of scrimmage in four games of action.

Colquitt County is 8-2 on the season and plays at Newman in the first round of the 6A playoffs.






* LB Alfred Dickens missed the fourth contest in a row due to a concussion he received in the South Panola game. Through five and half games of action he chipped in 62 tackles, two sacks, three interceptions, eight batted down balls, and forced two fumbles.

Olive Branch (7-5) suffered a 7-0 setback to Tupelo and missed the playoffs.


**The nation's #49 rated O, Tyler Putman, had his season came to an end when he tore his ACL in his left knee in game one. He had a successful surgery and is expected to be ready for a two-a-days in August at Ole Miss.

** Ole Miss 4-Star CB Kendarius Webster had a pick in Stockbridge's 24-7 win over Upson-Lee in the last regular season game of the year. The 5' 11", corner now has 49 tackles, 7 interceptions, two forced fumbles, and 6 total touchdowns on special teams and defensive interception returns

Stockbridge (9-1) plays at Westside in the first round of the 4A playoffs.

**The nation's #10 ranked safety, C.J. Hampton and Meridian defeated Forrest Hill 42-25 last Friday in their last regular season game. The 6' 1", 195-pound safety had 4 tackles in the contest while only playing a half due to the score. The Ole Miss commit now has 52 tackles on the season. He was selected to the Army All-American game.

Meridian (8-3) is at Gulfport tonight in the first round of the 6A playoffs.



Victor Evans

**The nation's #36 rated defensive end, Victor Evans, had four tackles, and two sacks in Dallas Skyline's 43-13 win over Berkner last Friday. For the season the rush end now has a Texas 5A best 13.5 sacks while also chipping in 47 tackles and 21.5 tackles for loss in ten games of action.

Skyline (9-1) plays at Plano tonight in the 5A D1 playoffs.






**Sandy Creek and the nation's #49 rated defensive tackle, Chris Williams, defeated Columbus 56-0 last Friday to finish their regular season with a 9-0-1 record. The Ole Miss commit had three tackles and two for a loss after missing four games with an ankle injury. The 6' 2", 280-pounder now has 24 tackles, 4 for a loss, and one sack in six games of action.

Sandy Creek (GA) (9-0-1) plays at home against Cedartown tonight in the first round of the Georgia 4A playoffs.

**Florence (Ala) and Ole Miss commit Kendrick Doss defeated Mountain Brook 33-21 last Friday in their last regular season game to push their record to 8-3. The 6' 2", 215-pound quarterback accounted for five touchdowns in the contest. For the season he has passed for over 2, 100 yards, rushed for over 800, and has twenty six touchdowns.

Florence (8-3) is at home against Clay-Chalkville in the first round of the playoffs tonight.


**Ole Miss commit Jeremy Liggins and N' East CC's season is now over. In three games at defensive end he had 14 tackles and a sack. In three games of action at quarterback he ha3 over 248 passing yards, 90 rushing yards, and four touchdowns.

N' East CC completed their season with a 3-6 record.

**Ole Miss tight end commit, Charles Standberry, had two catches for 15 yards in Montgomery Carver's 31-12 win over Blount in the last regular season game. For the year the nation's #52 rated tight end has 445 3 catches for 574 yards and eight touchdowns.

Montgomery Carver (9-2) is at home against Fairhope tonight in the first round of the Alabama 6A playoffs.

Sammie Epps

**Ole Miss 4-Star TE commit Sammie Epps and Greenwood defeated Houston at home 52-7 last Friday in the first round of the playoffs to push their record to 10-1. The 6' 4", 218-pounder had a touchdown in the contest. This brings his season total to 38 receptions for 677 yards and ten touchdowns

Greenwood (10-1) is at Lafayette tonight in the second round of the 4A playoffs.




**Ole Miss junior 4-Star commit RB Raleigh Williams missed his third game in a row due to a high ankle sprain in Bishop Lynche (TX) 31-14 loss to Liberty Christian last Friday. The 200-pound back 118 carries for 670 yards, 118 receiving yards and three touchdowns in eight games of action.

Bishop Lynche (3-7-1) faces St. Thomas Catholic tonight in their last regular season game.


**We were not able to find out if LB DeMarques Gates returned to the field for Lovejoy in their last regular season game Friday. The nation's #34 rated outside linebacker recorded a 132 tackles as a junior. He was waiting to get clearance from his doctor last week. No word yet.

Lovejoy is now 9-1 and will face Marietta tonight in the first round of the Georgia 6A playoffs.
