MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update Week Twelve

The playoffs are upon us and that means that the 2013 football season will soon be in the books. Several Bulldogs to be are still alive in their quest to bring him a state title. Some other players have seen their seasons come to an end.

Darius Liggins and Oxford are 11-0 and continuing to play extremely well.

Last week, Liggins had five tackles and three quarterback hurries in a 45-17 win over Lake Cormorant.

Oxford will host Vicksburg tonight in playoff action.

Dontavian Lee had 138 yards and two touchdowns on just eight carries in a 42-7 blowout win over Florence.

Lee and FCAHS (10-2) will travel to Columbia High School this week to take on the Wildcats in a huge second round match-up.

Aeris Williams surpassed the 2,000 yard mark for the season during last week's 62 point offensive explosion against Lewisburg.

The Green Wave (7-4) will travel to Pearl High School tonight in one of the most intriguing match-ups of the week.

Chris Rayford and Byhalia slipped into the backdoor of the playoffs and turned in a nice upset over #1 seed Corinth, 15-10.

BHS is still alive despite a disappointing regular season.

The Indians will host Cleveland High in second round action tonight.

Sean Rawlings and MRA blasted Heritage last week, 53-0.

MRA will play at Jackson Prep tonight in the first round of the playoffs.

Jordan Harris and Stephenson bounced back from a disappointing loss by taking out their frustrations against North Atlanta, 57-6.

Stephenson (8-2) will be on the road this week against Flowery Branch in playoff action.

Nick Fitzgerald and Richmond Hill won 41-0 over Windsor Forest.

The win brought the regular season record to a program best 9-1.

Fitzgerald threw for one touchdown last week in very limited action.

The Wildcats will host Thomas County Central tonight in a first round playoff game.

Lashard Durr found the endzone as a wide receiver and a punt returner last week as Harrison Central blasted Hancock, 56-21.

Harrison Central will travel as the #4 seed to defending south state champion Brandon.

This will likely prove to be a tougher opening match-up than the seedings would suggest.

Harrison Central (7-4) is just a couple of plays away from being region champs.

Brandon Bryant sat out his team's 29-7 first round playoff win over Shannon last week.

Bryant will be back in action this week as Rosa Fort hosts Kosciusko.

Deshon Cooper wrapped up his high school career last week in a 49-27 loss to Banneker.

Columbia finishes the year 6-4.

The next time Braxton Hoyett puts on a football uniform it will be for the Mississippi/Alabama All-Star game.

Hoyett and Pelham (6-5) fell to Fairhope 39-35 in the first round of the playoffs.

Logan Cooke's time at as a Columbia Academy football cougar is over.
