"We're going to get that W next year."

Jocquell Johnson has been committed to Mississippi State for several months, but the talented offensive lineman reports that he has never been more committed to being a Bulldog than he is today. Johnson took his official visit to Starkville over the course of the weekend and it appears things went extremely well.

"Everything about the trip was good," said Johnson. "There wasn't one thing I liked more than the others.

"Everything was good from the coaches, to the players, to the game."

Johnson was hosted by Bulldog freshman linebacker Dezmond Harris.

"I had never met him before, but I really like him," said Johnson. "He is a laid back guy who likes to have fun.

"He told me that he just moved to linebacker and that he had always been on the offensive side of the ball.

"I know he got hurt as a senior and couldn't play, but he's going to be ready to go next year."

Johnson reports that the visit to Starkville only made him feel better about his decision to join the Maroon and White in January.

"This visit was great," said Johnson. "It really makes me feel even better about my decision.

"My mama went with me and she told me that she really enjoyed herself.

"She had a good time and I had a real good time too.

"I am looking forward to getting up there in a few weeks."

The Bulldogs battles the Alabama Crimson Tide for four quarters and Johnson liked what he was able to see.

"I feel like we could have won the game," said Johnson. "There are a few things we need to clean up and execute better, but I feel like we're going to get that W next year.

"A lot of people thought that game was going to be a blow out, but it wasn't.

"The team fought until the end and I thought the offensive line played pretty well.

"The kept Alabama off of the quarterback most of the game.

"I am looking forward to playing in that game next year."
