MSU Commitment Scoreboard Update Week 14

With only a couple of weeks left in the 2013 high school football season, the names of interest to Mississippi State fans have been whittled down considerably. Five Mississippi State commitments were in action last night. Only a pair of those prospects' dreams of a state title remain alive today.

Dontavian Lee opened the scoring for FCAHS with a 58 yard touchdown reception and helped the Aggies outlast previouly unbeaten St. Stanislaus, 49-42.

Lee rushed for 90 yards and had 128 yards in pass receptions in the win to propel FCAHS to the south state title game.

FCAHS (11-2) will face Quitman in a rematch from earlier this season that QHS won 35-32.

The winner will play the winner of Lafayette and Cleveland in the 4A state title game.

Darrius Liggins and Oxford continue their magical season after a 39-21 win over Pearl.

The Chargers, now 13-0, will take on unbeaten Callaway next week in the 5A north state title game.

Both teams have been outstanding all year and the outcome of next week's contest could very well determine who the state champion will be.

Nick Fitzgerald and Richmond Hill saw their historic season end in a familiar fashion.

For the second straight year, the Wildcats see their state title hopes dashed at the hands of Warner Robins.

Despite a furious comeback in the second half, Richmond Hill fell 45-28 to end their season with a 10-2 mark.

Brandon Bryant and Rosa Fort lost a hard fought contest to Cleveland 22-17.

The Lions end the season 11-2.

Jordan Harris and Stephenson saw their 2013 football campaign end in a disappointing loss to North Paulding 35-7.

The Jaguars end their season at 9-4.
