Christian Alexander Recaps UF Trip

One of the top signal callers in the class of 2015 was on hand earlier today as the Florida Gators suffered a historic loss to Georgia Southern. Alexander has made multiple visits to the University of Florida and is very comfortable with offensive coordinator Brent Pease.

Christian Alexander checks in at 6-foot-3, 207-pounds. He currently has offers from Miami and strong interest from teams such as Alabama, Florida, UCF and Vanderbilt. He was on hand today as the Florida Gators hosted Georgia Southern. Alexander said prior to the game the things he was most looking forward to were watching Florida get a win and hanging out with the coaching staff.

"It was a good trip," Christian Alexander said. "I loved the environment and I got to try on the No. 8 jersey. I was able to go with my coach and his family."

Alexander was on hand during the Gators home loss to Vanderbilt and while that one was a bit shocking this loss was unthinkable.

"The game wasn't what anybody expected," Alexander said. "They just got to bounce back and get ready for Florida State next week. I talked to coach [Brent] Pease after the game and he told me to give him a call this week."
