"I felt like it's the program that fits me the best," Clinkscales said about his commitment. "I can help the program be dominant again and they're a good, young team. I can make them better."
Clinkscales was impressed with Nebraska's facilities and fans. He also mentioned how playing along side of some of Nebraska's young defensive linemen would make them unstoppable. Unstoppable like another Cornhusker who Clinkscales great up idolizing.
"I grew up an Ndamukong Suh fan so it's huge to get an opportunity to follow in his footsteps because of what he's done, because he works hard and how he plays in the league. I hope to meet him and ask him a lot of questions."
Clinkscales just returned to Dodge City yesterday after his official visit to Nebraska this weekend. It was clear that Clinkscales enjoyed his time in Lincoln.
"My visit was a "10". Nebraska is amazing. The fans and the facilities are amazing. Their new sports science facilities are incredible."
Clinkscales becomes the 17th known commitment for Nebraska in the class of 2014. Clinkscales will sign in February and has two years of eligibility remaining (no redshirt year).
