Glenville Duo Sets Two Official Visits

Cleveland Glenville lost to Loveland 41-23 in the state finals of Division-II in Ohio Friday night. Four-star prospects Marshon Lattimore and Erick Smith played well in defeat, and after the game they revealed they will be taking two official visits next week

Even though Cleveland Glenville lost 41-23 to Loveland Friday evening in the state finals in Division-II in Ohio, both Erick Smith and Marshon Lattimore starred in defeat.

Smith and Lattimore are both four-star uncommitted recruits, and they each have put together amazing offer lists. They visited Alabama officially two weeks ago, and they will be taking two more official visits next week.

"Marshon and I will be going to Georgia Tech next week on Wednesday and Thursday," Smith stated after the game. "I believe Marcelys Jones is going with us too, but I'm not sure of that. We should be back from Georgia Tech either Thursday night or Friday morning, and then we will be going to Ohio State for a Friday through Saturday visit."

"We do fly back to Cleveland from Atlanta, and then go on to Columbus from there," he added. "There's nothing coming up after those two visits, and then there's the dead period. Marshon and I are both announcing at the Army All-American game for sure."

Unless both players decide to take their remaining two visits after their announcement in San Antonio January 6th, these trips should complete their official visit schedule.

Jones, an Ohio State commit, also visited Alabama with Smith and Lattimore previously, but he would neither confirm or deny whether he would be accompanying those two to Georgia Tech next week. He has previously stated he would be taking an official visit to Ohio State next weekend with his two teammates.

Scout.com will continue to cover all three prospects right up to Signing Day, and will update each player's status as warranted.
