Darrius Spivey-Nunn hosted Southern Illinois Monday night and the Salukis decided to offer the defensive back a scholarship.
"SIU offered me," he said. "One of their coaches actually visited my house. I don't know much about them. But I have a visit planned for there next month," said Spivey-Nunn.
Spivey-Nunn thought was impressed with the visit and was given a positive impression of what his role would be for the program.
"I thought highly of the coach. They want me to come and play defensive back. He said I'll play either safety or corner. I'll have a good chance to play my first year if I decide to go there," he said.
Darrius and his family also hosted Tennessee-Martin this week and has a visit on deck to head down south.
"They want me down for a visit," he said. " The coach that came today said I have a really good chance of getting an offer on my visit," he finished.
Spivey-Nunn and his team finished 8-6, reaching the state semi-finals. Scout.com will keep you updated on Darrius Spivey-Nunn.
