His high level of play has not gone unnoticed by college coaching staffs.
"I have offers from South Carolina and Virginia Tech," said the 5-foot-11, 180-pound Turner. "It feels really good to get those offers. Both offered recently, so hopefully it will be a domino effect."
The schools that have offered are not the only ones showing interest.
"I'm also getting mail from Penn State, ODU, UVa, North Carolina," he said. "I've also gotten emails from Iowa, Oregon, Michigan State, Michigan, Maryland, Clemson, LSU, Ohio State and Missouri. I think Penn State is the closest to offering, though."
As for the offseason, Turner has not scheduled any visits.
"I haven't decided where I'm going to visit," Turner said. "I'm going to wait and see who offers me and then I'll make my decision on where I visit based off of that."
With his junior season behind him, Turner has already shifted his focus on preparing for his senior campaign.
"I'm definitely working on gaining weight," he said. "I'm going to just stay in the weight room and fine-tune everything. But my main focus is getting bigger."
During his senior season, Turner finished with 1,240 yards rushing and 23 touchdowns and 440 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
