"It's been very fun. Everyone has been competing well, everybody is just good out here, so I'm just getting better," he said.
Harvey, a Texas A&M commit, is also relishing in the chance to play with some of his future teammates.
"Kyle Allen is a great quarterback. I like playing against him and I can't wait to get to Aggieland with him. We might be getting Frank Iheanacho, and he's been doing good. We've been going back and forth. We might get Kd Cannon, and we might be getting Davion Hall, also," he said.
The athlete says he's been doing a little bit of recruiting for his team.
"I just have been telling these guys that we need them there and that we want to get a National Championship.
Harvey, who will head to College Station in August, reaffirmed his commitment to the program, especially with head coach Kevin Sumlin signing a new six-year contract.
"That made my commitment very, very solid. I wanted to make sure he would be there, and now that I know he is, my commitment is at 100%," he said.
For now, Harvey has his sights set on Saturday's game, in which he'll represent the West.
"I just want to keep getting better at everything I do and get me a couple of picks in the game," he said.
