Kameron Martin is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound, 4.39-forty-clocking sophomore running back who averaged 7.34 yards per carry this season for a total of 1,027 yards and 14 touchdowns in helping lead the Port Arthur Memorial Titans to a 8-4 overall record (5-1 district) and into the area round of the Texas Class 5A-II playoffs.
With this, Martin was named a 21-5A second-team all-district selection.
Martin has visited Baylor for the Bears' spring game in April and again for camp in June. Days later he was offered.
Texas Tech, on the other hand, offered prior to camp- a June outing that saw Martin spit a 4.39 forty-yard dash, to which the Red Raiders felt pretty good about their decision.
The 2016 running back has also visited Texas A&M a couple times this season- to catch the Rice game Sept. 13 and again Oct. 18 for the Aggies' much-anticipated rematch with Alabama.
A&M continues to closely evaluate Martin, as does Texas and LSU.
