When Bedford (Ohio) junior London Cloud first got to high school, he was more focused on football than his grades. After two years, the linebacker/ running back has learned that the two go hand-in-hand.
"My freshman and sophomore grades were not where I wanted them to be. Junior year I had a 3.3 the first quarters. They said if I keep going at that rate, I should have some offers soon," said Cloud.
The junior has also improved his play on the field this season.
"I had a pretty good season. I had over 1000 yards rushing and led the team in tackles. I was able to lead the team on the field and off," said Cloud.
With his grades on the rise, Cloud has been hearing from some new schools.
"Bowling Green, Kent State, Indiana, Toledo and Tennessee have all been talking to me," said Cloud.
Cloud still has a lot of time left in his recruitment, but he has been thinking about what he's looking for in a school.
"I'll definitely look at how good the academics are, the culture of the school and everyone around it. I want to see how they feel about the sports and the environment," said Cloud.
Stay with Scout for the latest on Cloud and the rest of the Class of 2015.
