One prospect to keep an eye on is Naperville Central (Ill.) junior linebacker Bobby McMillen, who has one offer from Northern Michigan and is eyeing more.
"Things are picking up, I am heading to Iowa this weekend, Central Michigan next weekend, and Illinois for an overnight visit and the following weekend, all of them for elite junior days," McMillen said. "I've also been having great talks with Iowa State and Western Illinois."
He added, "Iowa State wants me out there but we don't have a date set yet."
With lots of visits coming up, McMillen has several things he is looking forward too.
"I am definitely looking forward to getting the chance to see the campuses and getting to know the rest of the coaching staffs that I haven't had the chance to talk to yet," McMillen said. "I am also looking forward to starting to build more personal relationships with the coaches at the schools."
And after helping Naperville Central take home the 8A state title, McMillen has a big offseason in store.
"It's very busy but the results are definitely showing. I'm training Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday on top of at school also at Acceleration," McMillen said. "And also train Tuesday and Thursday doing linebacker drills and speed training as well. Now I'm just starting my 7-on-7 schedule with Midwest Boom, so my training schedule is definitely full for the next couple months."
