Park Center High (MN.) Adam Buirge has been in contact with several football programs as he approaches his senior season. One school showing a lot of attention is Iowa State, a school he has visited.

Adam Buirge, a 6-foot, 180-pound corner, had a big season this year, picking up 85 tackles and four interceptions on defense. Offensively he also caught 18 balls for 326 yards and four touchdowns. Buirge is also a great kick returner. He returned 16 kicks for 512 yards and two touchdowns.

"I'm an athletic playmaker that can play both sides of the ball. I am a dynamic kick returner," Buirge said. "I made a lot of plays for my team. I was named All-State as a junior," he continued.

His play, as well as his athleticism (4.43 forty and 37 inch vertical) are just a couple of things that have caught the eyes of college programs.

"I've heard from Minnesota, Iowa State, Kansas, Cincinnati, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Michigan State and Nebraska. I've heard from Minnesota, Iowa State and Cincinnati the most," he continued.

Buirge also made a trip down to Iowa State to check out the school and the football program.

"I enjoyed my visit to Iowa State. I liked the environment of the game. I feel like Coach Rhoads is pushing the program in the right direction. I talked to some of the coaches there on my unofficial visit. I like the way they do things. It's a great program," he finished.
