DT: Daniel Cage – Cincinnati (Ohio) Winton Woods
Adding an offer from Notre Dame on Sunday has Cage looking to squeeze four or five visits in before National Signing Day.
Right after receiving the offer from the Irish it was believed Cage would not visit Louisville and make a trip to South Bend this weekend. As we post this story, Cage is expected to be in Louisville this weekend.
Illinois has already hosted Cage officially and visits to Michigan State and Missouri are remaining the next two weekend. Cincinnati is only a short drive down the road and Cage could jump over unofficially to see anything the Bearcats hope to show him. Notre Dame will look to get the defensive tackle they need in this class on campus as soon as possible.
LB: Tegray Scales – Cincinnati (Ohio) Colerain
With an official visit set for Indiana this weekend, we could easily see Scales end his recruitment during or right after his visit. However, right now he plans on taking an official to Minnesota the following weekend instead of wrestling in meet. Right now he's not really considering any other program as a finalist.
S: Nilijah Ballew – Cincinnati (Ohio) Walnut Hills
Schools Still In Running: Louisville, Indiana, Minnesota
Ballew has been a longtime pledge to Louisville but is not starting to feel the Cardinals new staff is looking to head in a different direction. An official visit to Indiana is expected to happen this weekend and could see a Minnesota visit following before all is said and done. The Cardinals new coaching staff is still talking about an official visit at the end of the month, but we doubt Ballew is going to risk not having a home before National Signing Day.
DE: Terry Ramsey – Clayton (Ohio) Northmont
Schools Still In Running: Louisville (pledge), Michigan State
The opposite of Ballew, Ramsey heard from the Louisville coaching staff and they expressed their desires to keep him as a member of the recruiting class. This weekend will find the talented defensive end on campus giving the Cardinals a chance to keep Michigan State away. The Spartans are crunching numbers as interest in the Big Ten Champions has hit an all-time high following their Rose Bowl win and we've been told Ramsey plans to visit the Spartans next weekend.
DE/DT/OL: Joseph Kraemer – Kettering (Ohio) Alter
Schools Still In Running: UTEP, Southern Mississippi
Kraemer is a unique prospect as he could play on both sides of the ball. Southern Mississippi is a new team that is expected to visit school this week and could offer. If they do, Kraemer will look to take an official visit following this weekend's visit with UTEP.
WR: Isaiah Gentry – Cincinnati (Ohio) Moeller
A big senior season has now made Gentry one of the hot prospects left on the board in Ohio. A recent offer from Rutgers has the talented wide receiver thinking but he'll first take official visits to Kent State and Minnesota before thinking about the newest team headed to the Big Ten.
