After visiting Boise State this past weekend, Hill will meet with defensive line coach Steve Caldwell this week at his home.
"Since my trip was done, I wanted to go home and discuss it with my family," said Hill. "But I loved it up there. It was a great, great time, getting to meet other players and coaches."
Hill was hosted by another Texas native, Ben Weaver and spent time with several players.
"Ben is from Houston and we have a lot of things in common," said Hill. "We hung out with the other players and it was real cool."
Hill talked at length with head coach Bryan Harsin.
"Coach Harsin is great," said Hill. "You can tell how much he's committed to Boise State and how much it means to him and how happy it makes him to be there."
Hill said they like him as a Stud backer, the hybrid backer who can come off the edge.
"They like me for the Stud spot and use me off the edge but also as someone who can cover," said Hill. "There plan would be for me to come up there and hopefully play right away. From what I hear, I have that chance to develop and get into the system."
Overall, Hill had high marks for the visit.
"I'd say it was a 10," said Hill. "It was great seeing what Boise was all about."
