Wiley talks Boise State visit

Los Angeles (Calif.) Cathedral athlete Ladarius Wiley took an official visit to Boise State over the weekend and plans to have a Signing Day decision.

Ladarius Wiley committed in mid-December to Purdue but decided to take a few official visits and has opened up his recruitment. He was at Vanderbilt two weeks ago and checked out Boise State this past weekend.

"It was nice, I had a good time out there," Wiley said. "The other recruits out there were really good people and I had fun hanging out with them. The team is really close-knit, you can tell everyone gets along well. It's a really diverse group in terms of ethnicity, everyone is from somewhere different but it's a big family so that was cool.

"The coaching staff is great and I spent a lot of time with Coach Brown, the DB coach. They're recruiting me for safety and I'm comfortable with that. I like Coach Brown and Harsin a lot, they're great dudes. I like the football program and the winning tradition and it was a really good all around visit."

Wiley said he has a top three right now and will make his final decision on Signing Day.

"My top three are Vanderbilt, Virginia and Boise State," Wiley said. "I haven't made a final decision but I'm leaning to Vandy right now. I love the academics and the SEC is a big time conference so it's the best of both worlds. Plus it's a small, private school and kind of reminds of Cathedral so I'm very comfortable there."
