Wildcat Impact: Dorian Baker

Another of the members of the Kentucky 2014 recruiting class has faxed his letter of intent to the Wildcat coaching staff. Dorian Baker is officially a Wildcat.

Dorian Baker

SCHOOL: Cleveland Heights

SIZE: 6-foot-3, 200-pounds

POSITION: Wide receiver

POSITION RANKING: Number-153 wide receiver

SCOUTING REPORT: Right off the bat, Dorian Baker has a college-ready body and that sticks out noticeably. He is physically ready to play, and that will only increase as he gets into the Kentucky strength and conditioning program. Depending upon the depth chart and how quickly Baker picks up the system, this is a player that could see the field early. He can also play special teams at Kentucky, as he plays linebacker at Cleveland Heights.

WHY KENTUCKY: "I have committed to Kentucky, and I called Coach (Mark) Stoops and Coach (Vince) Marrow after my game Friday night to tell them," Baker stated. "I love the program and I'm glad to be headed to such a great school. Once I visited earlier, Kentucky was always going to be tough to beat."

"I feel like Coach Stoops is more than a head coach, but more like father figure," he added. "Coach Marrow was at my game last Friday and it was great that he came all that way to see me. I will be taking my official visit to Kentucky in early November, and I'm relieved to have my recruiting over with. I feel blessed to have this opportunity."
