"It went really well," said Wilson of the junior day trip. "I got to see the football facilities and I went to the basketball game.

"They want me to play safety. I talked to Coach (Scott) Sallach about everything.

"He is pretty cool and we have already talked before.

"They want to see me play safety in the spring first before they offer."

Wilson was able to attend the Bulldogs' games this fall against Alabama and Bowling Green.

"I always enjoy it when I go to Mississippi State," said Wilson. "The coaches always make me feel like I'm at home.

"I would feel really good if they offered me."

Wilson plans to attend junior day at Memphis next weekend.
