Reisterstown (MD) Franklin offensive lineman Patrick Allen has a tremendous offer list that includes Florida, Florida State, Tennessee, USC, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, and Wisconsin. His newest offer came through yesterday when the Buckeyes gave him the news.
Allen discussed his reaction to finding out Ohio State had entered the mix.
"I was excited," he said. "I'm hyped up about the offer. It came from Coach Warinner. He's a great man with an excellent reputation."
Two schools are sticking out to the four-star junior early on.
"Ohio State and Florida State are up there for me," Allen admitted. "They both want me and they are schools I'm really noticing a lot right now."
Allen explained why the Buckeyes have surged up for him upon offering.
"I like their whole program," he stated. "They have great academic standards too that stick out to me."
The Seminoles have left an impact on Allen's recruitment at all and he gave the reasons why.
"Their coaching staff is impressive," he noted about Florida State. "They are known for winning and have taken an interest in me. They have a great engineering program too which I like."
Allen has no visits set up at this time.
Two stick out for Allen
