Things Going Smooth for Carr

Scout.com has an update on The Woodlands running back Patrick Carr from Texas, who has been just taking the recruiting process as it comes. For him, there is no pressure.

Right now he has six offers, but according to The Woodlands (Tex.) running back Patrick Carr things have been easy going so far for him.

"Recruiting has been going really good. It has been going really smooth, not hectic," Carr said.

Well it could remain this way or the 5-foot-8, 188-pound Carr could really see things pick up as spring training approaches. Right now, Colorado, Oregon State, Texas Tech, Wake Forest, TCU and Arizona State are the offers he has in hand, with the Demon Deacons offer being the latest.

Carr said that coaches like his running style, which he considers himself a balanced back.

"I feel like I can work as an I-Back or out of the spread," Carr said.

While he looks to continue improving this off season, Carr wants to more so focus on playing his game and being an asset to the team. To date, he has not yet made any visits as he is busy with track.

Last season, Carr finished with 1,600 yards and 16 touchdowns.
