Reggie Walker, a 2015 defensive end recruit just received an offer from Texas Tech on Friday, and is excited for the opportunity to play college ball.
This powerful defensive end said it felt really good to get an offer from Texas Tech. Walker has already received offers from Arizona, Louisiana Tech, Southern Mississippi, and Louisiana Lafayette, but has not begun to narrow things down yet.
"I felt happy about getting an offer like that," Walker said. "This is really a dream come true."
Standing at 6-foot-3 and 245 pounds, Walker is a fast and physical player who could help a team's pass rush wherever he ends up. The last 40-yard dash time that Walker recorded was 4.56 seconds.
Red Raiders assistant coach Kevin Curtis has been recruiting Walker, who said they talk a lot about how he would fit in to the scheme at Texas Tech. As of now Walker has not visited any school and doesn't currently have any plans to visit Lubbock.
"My goal right now is just to get better," Walker said. "I just want to never take a play off and improve my speed and overall play."
