Coach Jafar Williams contacted me and said that the head coach had watched my film and that he was very impressed," Nagel said. "And they said that they would like to offer me."
The Boilermakers were an offer that excited Nagel.
"I was extremely excited," Nagel said. "I may major in engineering so Purdue is definitely a great school for that. Also, I look forward to building a strong relationship with the coaching staff and am excited to visit."
Plus, there are several other factors that stand out to Nagel about Purdue.
"I like that Purdue is close to home," Nagel said. "I like that it isn't too far and that friends and family would still be able to come and watch me play and visit."
He added, "I also like that the engineering program is very highly ranked."
Purdue is a school that Nagel would definitely like to get out and visit this spring.
When I visit I want to see all the faculties and the campus," Nagel said. "I want to be able to meet with the coaching staff and get a feel for where they can see me fitting in the offense.
At this point, the three-star receiver doesn't have any other visit plans set in stone for the spring.
